Material analysis of the Blue Shard. Elemental composition: no match identified in regional geological database or in the Unit's reference mineral collection. The internal crystal lattice is regular to a degree inconsistent with natural formation processes — natural crystals show imperfection and variation; this specimen does not. The lattice is uniform across the full specimen. Annotator note: the Unit declines to draw conclusions from this finding. The observation is documented. The implication — that this material was manufactured — is noted as a possibility that the current evidence does not exclude. Further analysis pending.
