Field Annotation
Positional analysis of the Blue Shard relative to the chamber's containment geometry. The shard is located at the exact geometric centre of the containment ring system — the point at which all resonance pathways converge, and the point at which the central chamber exerts maximum inward pressure from below. The precision of placement is inconsistent with natural deposition. Working hypothesis: the shard was placed at this location deliberately, by engineers who understood the resonance geometry with precision sufficient to identify the exact activation point. The object's unusual material composition and manufactured lattice structure (see JG-F-014) are consistent with this hypothesis. The Unit notes: this conclusion has significant implications for the age and sophistication of the engineering tradition responsible for the system.
