Field Annotation
Warning script recovered from the innermost chamber wall. Partial translation available for the outer glyph sequences: references to disruption of the annual cycle, to failure of the binding geometry, to conditions under which the containment becomes permeable. The outer sequences are warnings addressed to future engineers — people who would understand the geometry. The central passage occupies the most prominent position in the inscription and surrounds the primary containment geometry. The Unit's senior translator note: 'The outer passages warn of failure conditions and their consequences. We have translated enough to understand the severity of what they are describing. The central passage is where the ancient engineers put what they considered most important. We have not been able to read it. We do not know whether this is a limitation of our translation methodology or a deliberate property of the inscription itself. No translation available.'
