Field Annotation
Recovered from the SJTA administrative archive following the retirement of the relevant official. A hand-drawn map of the southern foundation precinct — not the western inscription chamber, which is separately documented in the SJTA's classified institutional files. A different passage, narrower, deeper, accessible from a point in the southern wall that no heritage survey had reached. At the bottom of the passage: a chamber. Different from the inscription chamber in nature and in function. The marginal notation, in the careful handwriting of a man who had held this knowledge for over forty years: 'Do not open. Do not stop the Rath Yatra. Do not let anyone go down. You will know when to pass this on.' The Unit notes: this document was passed on. The Unit does not know whether it was passed on to the right person, or in time.
